With that method how long did it take before your Cya levels reached the peak? I just did the same thing squeezing 4lbs of cya through a sock in the skimmer in about 20 minutes.

Should I get an instant boost, or will it still be several days before it all dissolves in the filter?

I think it will be a few days, but I didn't test right away either. At the time, I recall I was running low on reagent.
