How do I figure out the size of the skimmer gasket I need?

I need a new skimmer gasket and went online to hunt one down. Searching through Amazon many come up but it doesn't seem like any of them are the correct size. I measured the face plate this morning and it came out to 10 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches (around the outside). So I assume it's not a "wide mouth". I found a few gaskets for Haywards and their dimensions are 12 x 5 inches. The wide mouths are 13.375 x 7.187. The only part number I can find is off of the weir door and it is SP1082K.

Any idea on how to get the correct size? It doesn't seem like anything will fit.

You need an SPX1084B gasket for a Hayward model SP1076 automatic skimmer. It measures 10-3/4" X 8-9/16". It has 12 holes.
