Hot Tub Foam Replacement

I just fixed a cracked check valve on a used hot tub I recently purchased. I dug out a decent amount of insulating foam. What should I replace it with? Do I just go buy some great stuff and spray it in there? Do I use a non-spray foam type insulation? Please let me know, thanks!!

Use it the way it is to be sure all is good. If you pack it in with good old fashioned insulation you can be back at the repair in minutes.

Thanks - should I just put the insulation straight in or put it in a taped shut contractor bag to make less of a mess in case it gets wet again?

Insulation squashed in a bag doesn't have the same insulating properties. Use it the way it's intended use is.
