I just purchased a new VS Black & Decker pump and am trying to hook it into my EC75a filter. The connection from the old super pump was really simple with the SP1485 part. Now that I can't use that part, what is the best way for me to make that transition from the filter to the new pump? Thanks!

The pump likely came with 1.5" unions as well as 2." A 1.5" male adapter threaded into the lower side of the filter with Teflon tape (at least 3 wraps), a little 1.5" PVC pipe and 3-90s is all you should need.

Thanks. Yes, it did come with 1.5 and 2" unions. I wasn't sure if the threads would be standard to pvc schedule 40. But sounds like it is?
