HomeAssistant: Temp probe help needed

I have homeassistant up and running perfectly ... I noticed there is an integration called "1-wire"
I have the DS18B20 temperature probe which meets the requirements here : 1-Wire
looking for help getting this setup I also have a raspberry pi 3B and 3B+

Looking at the 1-Wire page, it seems you can run One Wire File System on the RPi to interface the sensors. I've used ESPHome and an ESP32 to interface a couple sensors in a fridge, I think it's far easier.

I keep thinking about doing a couple pressure and temp sensors on my equipment, I would use the ESP32 for this.
