Just got home from being away for 5 day... it appears a storm tripped my breaker so the pool wasn't running. Of course the pool looked bad. I got it back up, checked my levels and had almost no chlorine. So I immediately added. The most curious thing is my cya dropped to almost zero... I know we had a ton of rain... is it possible it is really 0, it was at 47 when I left.

Current readings:
Fc-10
Tc-5
Ph-6.8 (after 12 lbs of baking soda)
Ta-110

Retest your CYA and see if, for sure, it's 0. You can get a CYA standard solutions to verify what you are seeing with your CYA test. If it's 0, then you'll need to add stabilizer to increase your CYA. Use PoolMath for that.

Your pH should fall within the range of 7.5-7.8. I use Borax to increase mine. Borax is best added by pre-dissolving it in a bucket of water and then pouring that slowly in front of a return.

What's your CC level? Your TC seems a bit high.

I'll let the experts chime in here
shortly.
