Getting a high 4200ppm salt level reading from my newly installed Intellicenter connected to an older IntelliChlor IC20. I got a 3260ppm reading from a recently calibrated LaMotte Salt Tracer PockeTester. Are IntelliChlor salt detection not usually accurate, or is my Salt PockeTester in need of a replacement?

The IntelliChlor just take a wild "guess" as to what the salt level is. I think it accuracy is +- 500 ppm.
We recommend the Taylor K-1766 salt drop test.

Well... I guess the 3260ppm result from my LaMotte Salt Tracer PockeTester wasn't reliable after all. The salt drop test came back as 4800ppm, so my IntelliChlor reading of 4200-5000ppm was pretty close. Immediately drained the pool...
