Ok so I just retested.
FC-1.5
CC-0.5
PH-7.2
TA-80
CH-825
CYA-80

I turned pump back on to drain some more water, forgot to close off the rainbow chlorinator so did that now. Also brushed everything

Drained a little more with fountains on and added a little bleach. Now at
FC-2.5
CC-0.5
PH-7.4
TA-100
CH-825
CYA-65

So should I really be at 5 FC like the pool math recommends? also is 65 a good CYA or should I try and get that down more?

Not sure if it's a mental thing but the water feels much softer/nicer if that makes sense. Also seems much more clear. I mean, it was clear before but staring at it now it seems like last week might have had a very slight haze to it.

If you added the borax, that might explain the softer feel.

You should be at 8 FC for your target. You are playing with algae at your current FC numbers.

Also, did you empty the chlorinator? Not just turn it off?

No didn't add the borax. I thought I read somewhere about target FC was 4-5. I got it to 4 after the last full test.

You need to go with 70 CYA if you are midway between 60 and 70. The scale is not linear, but logarithmic. You can see that the gradations on the vial are not equally spaced.
