It says in the FAQ that it is more than a traditional pool, but for places where every square foot of real estate matters I can see it being practical, in much the same way that $10,000 flat panel TV's were practical a decade ago in Manhattan apartments because they could hang on the wall and take up less square footage of precious floor space.
Sadly they are out of business. Was actually going to see how much it was since my back yard is small. Would have been nice to have all that area back for a non-pool party.
