We now live in Paradise, (Naples FL), and enjoy our 10k gal salt pool all year around.
I took over maintaining our pool about 2 years ago and glad that I have. The local pool maintenance company was terrible and hardly ever took care of the pool but loved to charge us.
The ph was always height and the water was cloudy. We ended up replacing our gas heater bc the ph was off and destroyed the lining and also our IC-20 salt unit! Very expensive!! Had to shut the pool down for a week and clean the green stains. We threatened to sue the guy and he caved amd gave us a rebate.
But now crystal clear pool with minimal maintenance! A little muradic each week and mostly good to swim! I’m actually writing this while in the pool w a beverage!
I will be asking more about the intelliph unit but for now all ok.
