Hey Everyone! So, my wife and I are planning a pool build. We are going semi-inground because of our lot layout/grade. I have a ton of questions regarding EVERYTHING! I've been researching everything about pools and it seems the deeper I dive down the rabbit hole, the more contradictory information I receive.
Ultimately, we will be doing a semi-inground kit (with some help from a contractor friend). I work in the trades, so most tasks with construction will not be an issue. Our wish list includes an 18x36 or larger with an expandable liner, SWG, heater (to be installed later).
I am a huge planner, and am one to look at and understand every aspect before completing a (big) project.
Immediately though, I am stuck on pump / filter selections. There are so many options and pros/cons that I need some feedback from real people who have actually used these things!
