6 gallons of bleach a day is not going to be enough to maintain shock level. You need to bring the pool back up to shock level more than once a day, preferably several times a day, if you want to get ahead of the algae.

Pool is still swamp green, adding 10 gal of 6% bleach each day. My readings are:
FC 6.5
PH 8.2
TA 110
CH 90
CYA 10
Last night we put in 6 cups of muratic acid to try to lower the PH & 4 bags of shock, still swamp green no improvement.
Will get readings today when my daughter comes over.
Any suggestions??

The CYA is 10, the pool store told me not to add stabilizer until the pool is clear,
I have already put 8#'s in this year, this will be the 2nd time.

How did you test the CYA? Is that your test result or the pool store test result?
Even with backwashing, you have added enough to get to about 40 CYA and just doesn't seem like it could be 10. Not to mention, 10 would be very hard to test.
Suggestions: First lower your pH to around 7.2 to 7.4ish.
Second, follow procedures for "How to Shock your Pool" in Pool School. Here: pool-school/shocking_your_pool

Is the only issue green algae water or is there debris in the pool on the bottom? Leaves & junk?
