Help Please (Prominent)

Hello!

I have a prominent DCM2cl, and the home screen on the menu typically displays the chlorine ppm.. but all the sudden the chlorine is around 10ppm and the prominent feeder itself is only showing ORP mV... Not PPM...

I manage a YMCA pool and really need help in understanding what happened and how to fix it.. because for some reason it's not telling the feeder to stop the chlorine feed. I had to physically unplug it..

Please and thank you for any help you may be able to provide..

You really need to call the manufacturer or the service company that installed the system and get everything professionally inspected.

Ya know, lots of residential unit pool use Prominent feeders, too. Just mentioned my specific situation to call out its urgency.. If you do not have a helpful answer, now sure why you would even respond..

Salt seeded pools with Chlorine Generators require the use of a special, gold tipped ORP sensor.

Free Chlorine measuring versions use a CLB3 sensor.

Both of these sensors screw into a smaller 13.5 mm housing module as shown above.

Does your unit measure only ORP or does it measure Free Chlorine?
