TC - 16
TA - 70 (Doing the best I can with the dropper...this one might be slightly off)

I didn't test the rest. I'll check back in about an hour. It's still raining.

This being my first day with the kit I'm sure there is possible operator error. I'll check again in the morning.

Do I even need to do the FC overnight loss test? I've been holding at what is shock level for my CYA for over 36 hours without adding chlorine. I'll test again later today.

you aren't holding overnight. lose less than 1ppm overnight is the test. you lost roughly 2.5.

Going from the 1 AM reading to the 7:45 AM reading there was a loss of 1.0. That meets our criteria for algae wiped out, done shocking, especially since it was raining (which tends to use up some FC).

I'm thinking that the couple of beers I had last night messed up the 12:15 reading. Don't drink and test.

So it sounds like I need the sun to burn off the excess chlorine to get me down to optimal level and then I just maintain. I'll also dial in the other numbers at that time. I heard the sun is coming out tomorrow. We've had 14 days of rain in the 18 days of June so far. I don't even live in Seattle or London. T-minus 16 days till I turn on the SWG.
