Hello everyone, thanks for any help in advance.
Just moved into a new place with a Roman style rectangle pool and was told it is 35,000 gallons. When I try to calculate the size of my pool it comes up alot smaller. Just wanted to ask if Im doing it right? I used this method to get my results:
Rectangle Pool - Average Depth x Length x Width x 7.48 = Volume in Gallons
Heres my pool:
Average Depth - 5 feet
Length - 27 feet
Width - 14.5 feet
5 x 27 x 14.5 x 7.48 = 14,642
So is my pool only around 15,000 gallons or is my math wrong? Any help greatly appreciated!
