Hello! New member. Had brand new pool installed in SW Fla home and was dismayed to find when I arrived the pool was coated with sandpaper texture, despite being under pool service contract. With great effort (acidification, wire bushing and some additives) the scaling was remedied by the pool servicer. But now I’m gunshy about leaving things to them so I’m becoming versed in pool chemistry and maintenance.
