Hi! I'm a relatively new pool owner in Upstate NY. This is my second summer maintaining my pool in my new home. I've been struggling a ton with algae this year and feel like I've been fumbling around in the dark trying to fix the issue once and for all, until I found this website during all my frustrated searching. I really appreciate how concise and no-BS everything here is. I've just ordered the recommended test kit and I'm optimistic that the SLAM method is going to help me cut through all the nonsense advice and finally get my pool to a state where it not only looks great, but also where I understand what's going on and how to keep it that way.
