Heater not working / temp sensors

I have an error on my panel indicating that the water temperature sensor is not working. I am assuming this is why my heater is not working.

However I replaced both the water sensor and the air temperature sensor, but I still have the warning light and message on the panel, and the heater still isn't working.

Any advice on how to troubleshoot?

Your panel is a Compool LX 3400?

Post Pics of the temp sensor connections.

Where did you buy the temp sensors?

Confirm each sensor is good. Disconnect each sensor and test each sensor with a multimeter. It should read 10,000 ohms at 77F (25C) degrees. You can lookup other test values in the Temperature vs Resistance Conversion Chart for 10k Thermistors.

Page 12 of this manual http://platinumpools.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Pentair-Compool-CP3400.pdf shows screw terminals on the right side of the board for the temp sensors. Where does the connecting block you have in your hand go?

Ha! you nailed it So the terminals I took a picture of simply fell off of the mainboard. I saw the temp sensor markings right where they are in the manual. Popped the terminal block back on the pins, errors went away and the heater fired up. Thank you sir, I will be saving a copy of that manual.
