I noticed while tinkering around my equipment pad that the fins on my heat pump were quite dirty.

Reading up on the manual and it mentioned cleaning with a soft brush and water, but I was worried about bending the fins so I opted to use a garden hose on low pressure.

Looks like new and hopefully a little more efficient heating the pool.

Great!
Just like on an outdoor air conditioning unit, the fins need to be hosed off a few times a season.
The better the airflow the higher the efficiency.

Something like this should be a regular part of any heat-pump (and home A/C) maintenance, you can't just walk away from these very expensive pieces of equipment:
