To the point about wall structure... If you look closely at the original picture... The wall did sustain some damage :/

Point being, if it is not a "rip" in the metal, it is fine... Metal can, and does, both stretch and shrink... so a dent/ding/whatever, as long as it is not a tear in the metal (which is VERY easy to determine), is not a structural issue.

There does appear to be a sharp dent in it in a few places, but that could just be dirt.

What damage was done by the mower - just the dent to the upright ?

Whats with all of the scratches on the wall ?

I think that's the pool design... strange yes. As to the wall, I was just pointing out the dent, that would probably bother me more than the upright if they are easily replaced. Let's hope the mower doesn't come near the pool again...
