Go figure. Shocked pool, turned pool on and pump was running fine. Was going to run for 24 hours after 50 ounce triple shock in 10,000 gallon pool. Pump was running fine for first few hours. I checked it at 11 pm and it’s off. GFI was tripped. As soon as a reset it and turn it on again you can hear the motor try to turn on, and not even in the blink of an eye the gfi trips instantly. I ran an extension cord to another outlet on a separate circuit just test it and the same thing happens. Any ideas? Going to pull the motor out tomorrow and maybe take it to a friend that knows more than me but anything else I should check as soon as I take it out?
