Hayward Salt Chlorine Generator will not turn OFF!

Hi to those reading this :) When I plug in my Hayward Aqua Trol Salt Chlorine generator, it comes on just fine. The lights work, the pump comes on, & water flows through pool. However, unless I am to unplug it, it stays on. Even when moving the switch from on or time to off, nothing changes. I cannot turn it off with the off switch, which is how I normally do it. I have to unplug it. I also cannot set the timer to have it turn on/off automatically. Anyone have experience with this and know how I might be able to fix it? Thank you!

What a pickle! Hopefully my response will get some eyes on your post from someone with this cell!

Welcome to TFP.

The Aquatrol Manual is attached so we can both follow along.

Do you have the RJ or HP model?

The timer control power to the pump and SWG. Why can't you set the timer?

The main switch has three settings - AUTO, SUPER CHLORINATE, OFF. The OFF position prevents the AquaTrol from energizing the electrolytic cell. In this position there is no chlorine generation.

Show us pics of the Auquatrol installation and wiring.
