Hayward Power Flo LX Pump Mount (SP1515)

My pump is only a few years old. The mounting bracket on the bottom of the pump rusted away and I cannot secure it to the base anymore. The pump runs as strong as it did on day 1. There has to be a way to secure it somehow. Anyone have any ideas? I cant be the first person this has happened to!

May have to put a spacer between the motor and base, but I have seen this work:
