Hayward OnCommand & Home Assistant

I installed a home automation with Shelly Relays and use Home Assistant for the automations, etc. I’ve only found I believe 4 threads related to this but surely others have accomplished this successfully? Anybody have any info integrating OnCommand with Home Assistant for home automations? I see an RS-485 port but it appears to be for the remote.
