Giving this thread a bump as I am experiencing the HS/LO codes now too, exact same issues. Heater goes until 85-90F then throws HS code then LO code.

Bypass valve is closed so water should be full pressure into heater

The Hayward SwimClear filter (8) pressure shows fluctuation between 11-12PSI when pump running. Is that too low time to clean filters?

That's a good question I honestly cant remember I thought it was much higher then 11-12PSI but that wouldn't make sense, isn't it supposed to lower pressure when clean and higher pressure reading when dirty or obstructed?

Yes. If you do not know the clean filter pressure, time to clean the filter. Then record the data point (with the corresponding RPM). When it rises by 25%, time to clean the filter.

What is your clean filter pressure?

I had pool guy come in and clean the SwimClear 8 cartridges yesterday, afterwards at filter speed HIGH (3200RPM) the pressure gauge read 20-21PSI
