I tested salt 3000
But I constantly get this
Could cell be bad?
I am seeing very similar thing. If Avg salt reading is 2300 or less, then the panel will not generate. If I reset the Avg. Salt reading per the Hayward Trouble Shooting Guide:
I can get the Avg. Reading above 2300 and it will generate for a while and I do not have the error lights.....a day or maybe two then the Avg Reading goes to 2300 or 2200 and I do the dance again.

My salinity level is 3200 per Leslie Sample testing.

That Guide also mentions if the Avg Reading is < 75% of the actual salinity it is time to change the Cell.

I am in process of replacing cell, trying to determine if I can go down from a T-15 to a T-9 for a 12k gallon pool.

Did you replace your cell yet....and if so did it work for you?

Moved from here.

Salt cells should be sized for at least 2 times the pool volume.
A T-9 cell is rated for 25k gallons
A T-15 cell is rated for 40k gallons

The price difference between a T-9 replacement cell and a T-15 replacement cell is about $200.
it's more cost effective to buy the T-15 replacement cell.

Check out Polytech Pools for replacement cells.
T-9 for $699, T-15 for $899.
