We're renovating a 52 year old swimming pool with rusty rebar, at the Onion House, in Hawaii. My contractor plans to chip out all the places where the rust has bled through, and treat or remove the rebar. After patching, he'll apply MCI migrating corrosion inhibitor 2020. After power washing that off, we will coat it with Thoroughseal, then a bonding agent, then Diamond Bright (Aqua Quartz.) I cannot seem to find info on the net about MCI 2020 for use in swimming pools. Have you had any experience with it?
