Has anyone acid stained their concrete pool deck?

Looking to add some color around the pool area. We should have done this when pouring the deck a few years ago but here we are.

Received a quote for about $2800 to do approx 700sq/ft of decking. Don't love the price but it is what it is. I am little concerned about how well the color will hold up as I don't want it to wear over time. Plus is will need to be sealed every two years.

These guys are DIY crazzy and can help in many ways.. I bought the stuff from them but have not done it yet as we are going to build the pool first then do the walkways..
