Hanging a rectangular Intex Ultra Frame Pool directly from the pool deck

Some more pics. Also the measurement of how much the walls should angle.

Looking at the underside of the deck, just as a precaution. I would take some of the sidewall from the failed pool and wrap those support posts with it. I'd be worried that with any movement in the pool, the sides rubbing up against that wood could cause small leaks at some point. Wrapping the posts would just give an extra layer between the wood and the pool. ;)

Beautiful looking pool so far, and it must have taken a lot of effort. I hope it does hold.

Edit: Sorry, I read what I thought was the last post of the thread, but I see a lot of other posts succeed it, which I've not read, so I don't yet know how accurate my statement is.

30 hours later and rebuild is done. Now refilling with water. I didn't put in the hard walls between legs and liner. Because I couldn't get hold of the boards, but next year maybe. The boards will be sitt lose, no screws needed, because the water will press it against the structure. Just some small shelf on the legs to make it stay up.
