Pool company wants to proceed like this isn't an issue. They want to acid wash it this morning then fill it up with water. But I am having serious reservations after thinking about it more. Right now the ground water level/pressure is likely somewhat high (with it being winter/spring time) so water is coming in with the pool being empty, but in the summer and fall when things are drier water would be constantly leaking out of our pool (when it was full of water). It doesn't seem right to proceed with the pool without correcting the crack or whatever is allowing the leak. The pebbletec installers tried things yesterday, but I feel like they were limited to "quick fixes" because they had a time constraint needing to also peeble it on the same day. Surely this leak can be fixed given proper time to address it? If a new fiberglass shell or vinyl liner was installed and found to have a crack or pin-hole defect allowing a leak wouldn't it be corrected before filling the pool?

Thoughts please?

The pebbletec guys said they tried everything they normally do but couldn't get it to stop. They also said it would be "okay". Oddly, now that the pool is partly full it appears the leak is starting to stop/dry up.
