Grout between coping and liner cracking

Greetings all. Had this pool installed back in March and noticed grout extremely brittle to the touch. Installer has returned to fill in holes. However, it still looks shotty in my opinion and still brittle. Is there anything I can seal this grout with? Is it normal? Am I being difficult? Attached pictures for reference.

I think that should be a flexible sealant if there is movement going on - and did they fill the liner track with grout?

They did fill the track with grout. However. Some small sections of the track are visible due to it crumbling.

I don't work much at all with vinyl liners, but in my experience you want that track left open or it is a pain to change the liner. There should be a bead of sealant between the brick and the track.

There could be and I can't see it. It would have to be a very thin layer behind the grout. Now I know for sure there is some adhesvie sealant on the pavers above. But on the track, not so sure.

Yep, I mean in place of the grout. The grout has no ability to flex so it will crack. Sealant will allow for some movement and keep everything sealed. It wouldn't make sense for them to grout over sealant.

The grout is inflexible by nature. the deck and pool wall move opposite one another and cause that cracking......it's inevitable.

I wouldn't seal it That said, if you do, use polyurethane caulk as it has some flex.

If you were in a freezing climate that would be a problem down the road but in Florida.... I'd just live with what you've got.
