Green Pool

Would it be ok to let my FC drop to 9ppm so I can test my PH or should I wait till I pass all 3 test
Thanks
Wait.

If you let up on the shock process now, you'll lose some progress on the algae killing. Another day or two, probably. You've scrubbed all the hiding places, right? Stairs, ladders, light niches? pH is real easy to fix; pour whatever in and let it mix for half an hour. Algae takes a lot longer....as you've learned.

Butterfly says
You're done shocking when:
1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.

Last night May 10th at 8:20pm
FC=24.5
CC=0
TC=24.5

This morning May 11th at 6:45am
FC=24
CC=0
TC=24
My water is crystal clear so let the swimming begin :party: :whoot: :cheers:
I liked to give a big THANK YOU to everyone here for all the help you've given me

Pool looks great
But I'm still getting some white stuff on top of the water
Here are a couple of pictures

Hey guys just a little update on the pool
Judi and I have been in the pool 3 time now
1st was on Wednesday May 15th then on Friday the 17th and once more today
It's great to go swimming and not have my eyeballs feel like they are on fire
I always keep my eyes open under water whenever I swim even in the ocean
My only concern is the floor of the pool feels slippery even after brushing it or running the robot
Could this be because it's a fiberglass pool?
Thanks all

That would be my guess. It must be squeaky clean!

Well Judi and I have been swimming quite a lot ever since I won the algae problem on May 11th 2013

A month later and the water looks crystal clear

Just thought I'd post some pictures so other newbies can see what can be achived if you just have POP and do it the TFP way
