Last night's FC = 17.5
This morning's FC = 13.5
Have now failed 2 OCLT's in a row, and it seems to be getting worse. What???
Water is still clear. Black algae spots look like they are slowly fading with scrubbing 3x/day.

Well, it does appear you are making progress on the black algae fight.
Have you checked behind your pool light, all around the skimmer throats and all around your rock waterfall for hidden algae? Usually the algae in those areas are regular green algae, but important to eliminate if they are present.

Thir morning's FC = 12.5
Pool is still clear. Now I will try to keep it between Target and Shock levels for ~1 more week, while still brushing daily, to ensure black algae goes away. Then once I am below FC of 10 I will re-check pH and the others to adjust as needed.

I really appreciate everyone's help with this. Excited to keeping the pool looking great. It will be more work than I am used to, but well worth it.
