Getting pool deck lifted and leveled. After they're done, what can I do about the concrete dust getting in the pool.

I plan on running the robot for a few cycles to pick up all the debris, my concern is the dust that will be floating on the surface. After cleaning the bottom, should I just turn on the pump and backwash a few times? Any other suggestions for me? I've covered the skimmer lid with a plastic bag so no large pieces or dust accumulate in there.

If you have a lot of floating powdery stuff, skimmer socks should help catch it before it flows to the filter. Here is just one example:
