Freeze protection

Good evening getting ready for my first freeze with pool in Texas . I very familiar with my freeze protection on my jandy system but not sure if the system changes over to spa mode every so often . Does the system automatically do that ? Or is it something that needs to be in programing ? My system has spa spillover when pump is on so I’m not worried about those pipes but see pic below . I’m worried about the pipes I marked in red . Those don’t circulate unless in spa mode

If the spa is also on freeze protection, it should cycle through pool and spa mode. Luckily you will get a tease of winter the next few days so you can observe your freeze protection in action before you really need it next week.

You should be able to put the jet pump in freeze protection with your Jandy controller

Thank you . I just verified through the i aqua link that the spa was in freeze mode. It also had a setting to put spa blower in freeze mode . It was off . Should that be on freeze mode ?

No, most of the time the spa blower is not in freeze protection since it blows air not water.
