Have you gotten familiar with the SLAM procedure? I assume you have the FAS DPD Chlorine kit? Where you add powder to turn it pink, then add drops to turn it clear?
The reason you aren't holding FC is easy. You have things consuming it, like algae. At the moment, I'm at a loss to explain the cya, but it usually takes time to register, and perhaps you made an error when you thought you saw it. Sorry, I just don't know.
