First time pool startup for friend

I am wanting to help a friend open her pool. I’d love to be able to show her the app and help her gain knowledge and wisdom from here! I don’t know anything about SWG. She said hers looks like a little guitar that hangs in the pool. Where would I even start to help her. I do have the needed test kit to get her levels.

Open it up and get it running. Mix for at least a full day because the water had months to stratify. Then get some FC in there and Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. If it fails, it's
SLAM Process.

Get the CYA to 30 along the way.

After SLAM (if needed), get CYA to 70 and salt to the manufacturers range. Then fire it up and ensure its maintaining an appropriate FC range.
