Filter Vibration noise is driving me crazy

FYI I tried the electrical tape around the piece in the cover that goes into the filter cartridge and it worked like a charm. Great tip.

I'm guessing with usage that the cartridge hole starts to warp and expand a bit from all the pressure and in time prevents a good enough seal so the tape gives it a chance to have a better seal.

I am having the same problem with the vibration noise. Did u get an answer why?

Had the same crazy vibration. Checked all suction side connections for air leaks. Also, the base is not causing the problem.

Read about the electrical tape fix. I used a large o-ring from a corny keg lid (ask a homebrewer), worked perfectly...quiet as can be

Brilliant solution haha.

I had a vibration in the handle selector of a brand new multi-port valve.
Stuffed a small piece of foam down in the turning area. vibration gone.
