Just had the sand in our TA60 replaced. Also had new laterals, hub and stand put in.
Pump and filter fired up. It appears the returns are flowing very strong, however the pressure gauge reading below zero.
It's a newer gauge too. I did tap it, nothing.

Can there be zero pressure in the TA60 filter yet water flow and pump suction appear to be operating normal?

Thank you very much-

Check that the MPV is in the filter position.

One way to check it to remove the guage and turn on the pump. If you get a strong stream of water coming out then it is definitely the gauge, if not then the port is clogged.

Oh, make sure you get out of the way first.

If you have a strong stream with gauge removed, it is toast. Gauges tend to break, especially if they freeze. Sometimes they survive the winter just fine, other times they don't. Fortunately they are inexpensive to replace.
