We are brand new pool owners & came home to our contractors filling our pool which was muddy. We had to have a foot before we could get water from fire dept. none of our filters toon system is hooked up because we are waiting on concrete. Is there a way to clear it up before adding more water & not do any damage to liner?

Some mud won't hurt your liner, it will just take time for the filter to filter it out.
I had my pool builder crew accidentally dump a load of soil in my pool (filled already and crystal clear up to that point! Ack!) and it took about a week to clear the entire load out.
