Fill Water Alk

Good Afternoon
Trying to keep my ph in check . Living in texas with lots of evaporation.With my fill water alk around 190 and 200 ppm . Am I pretty much stuck with this battle of keeping my alk in the 60’s and 70’s ?

That's what my fill water is typically like as well, though I don't have nearly as much evaporation. Get a cover if you don't already as that should help with evaporation. Otherwise, adding acid periodically to lower TA and pH then aerate to raise pH is your best bet.

I think my fill water TA is about the same. I’m just committed to having to add about 1/2 gallon of muriatic acid every couple of weeks to knock my pH back down.
