So started the initial pool fill yesterday. Water went brown. I called the PB (who said I could swim as soon as it was deep enough, ha) and he said it was a plaster cure chemical that the acid wash crew leaves in the pool during the fill. This causes the water to be cloudy and brown.
There was a brown dust like powder on the pool floor. I used a shop vac set up to suck up some of that water/dust sitting on the floor but there is still a good bit suspended in the water.
Anyone ever hear of this? Should I be concerned about stains?
Equipment doesn't get turned on until next Tuesday, at which point I'm sure the filter will help clear the water.
Plaster is aqua mini white.
Thanks for any advice.
