We're getting a fiberglass pool installed soon. No one has ever mentioned a bond beam in this process, I ended up finding out about it online. The installer says he doesn't include it because it's the concrete person's job. The hardscape guy I have been talking to has apparently never even heard of it. Is the bond beam necessary? Do I need to find a new hardscape guy?

Looks like, at the very least, I will need to find someone with experience to pour the bond beam. Thanks for the help.
