Preface: Bought a house with a pool in November, so this is our first summer with a pool and everything is new for the first time.
We have a liquid chlorine pump that runs on a timer. I forgot to check the level in the reservoir for a few days, it went dry and the FC level in the pool was 0 when I just checked. The water still looks clean and there is no sign of algae or any other visible problems. My best guess is that the FC has been at 0 for no more than a 24-36 hours. If I add enough chlorine tomorrow to get the FC back into my target range, can I avoid another round of SLAM?
