FC cloudy test

I'm trying to learn why in the past few days my test is cloudy with the 870 powder and the 871 Regent....the pool is crystal clear with no cloudiness at all. I know that the TF 100 instructions say the test is still valid. I'm just trying to understand what has caused the test to now be cloudy. Anyone that is experienced with this test cloudiness issues who can give me some insight is much appreciated...thanks John

Forgot to mention that my chemicals are kept in a closed box in a controlled air conditioned environment in storage when not in use. John

My test has always been somewhat cloudy. I am sure there is a technical answer, just can’t recall what it is!
The results are still valid.

Cloudy FAS DPD FC test

Folks, I've noticed something weird happening with my FC test. I've been using the TF 100 tests since Nov of last year. When I run the FC test and add 0871 to get a clear solution the solution is cloudy. Used to be clear and the kit is only 4 months old so I doubt reagents are a problem...

Did a quick search. Usually tied to elevated CH levels.

Thanks, I have noticed my CH creeping up as I have just had my pool resurfaced a couple of weeks ago...thanks again, John
