Equipment pad cracked

Hi everyone,

I had our equipment evaluated by a pool servicing company. The concrete equipment pad appears to be cracked in multiple areas but the pool person said no repairs or new concrete pad is needed. Is this true? What would be the ramifications of not fixing the equipment pad. I was under the impression that the purpose of the pad was to keep the pumps and other equipment level to minimize stress on the pipes and connections.

A crack per se isn't a problem. Like you said it all depends how much the equipment is shifting. All concrete cracks.

Welcome to TFP! Your pad is a bit beat up, but honestly I've seen worse. As long as the pump and filter are stable you should be fine.
