Electrical issues with entire Jandy system.

I recently removed the solar panels from my roof.
In doing so, I removed the valve actuator and temp sensor.
I cut and removed the wires to the actuator.
I now have NO action at the control panel!
Other than hearing a slight hum (from the transformer?), there seems to be zero result from switching the main breaker on. Jandy Customer service suggests checking/changing the 3amp fuse on the back board, but that didn't do anything.
Can you think of anything to check?

I will rephrase my question.
Using a multi-meter, is there a way to test the board on my main control panel, if I currently have nothing working on the panel?
I am thinking that I MIGHT have damaged something when I terminated the valve actuator, but I don't want to just randomly start buying parts.

Follow-up.
It was the transformer.
Cheap, easy fix once I had a direction.
