Easytouch and Pump Priming

My pool is 3 years old and has an Easytouch controller and Intelliflow VS+SVRS pump. Is there a way to set the priming speed? There appears to be a setting in the Easytouch for priming speed, but it doesn't appear to do anything. I really don't like the pump starting up and running full speed to prime as the pressure spikes up pretty high in the filter till it starts to ramp down to the normal programmed speed.

If it's the same you go to your max speed setting and set that to your desired max you want. Then the max priming will not exceed your speed. I wish that priming would work if your bowl level drops for whatever reason as well as start up.

Try disabling the priming mode on the pump. Temporarily take off the RS 485 cable on the pump go to menu and disable priming. Reconnect cable and see if you can control from the easytouch

With the control cable to the EasyTouch disabled, you can set the pump's max speed.
