Just figured I'd post a picture of my pool with crystal clear water, thanks to all of the help from this site. Just need to back fill and landscape. Next year I will be adding a deck to my existing deck.

Need to use some tricolor tabs in a pinch. They are 1" tabs. My cya is under 40 so I should be good there but to get my fc from 2 to 6 hw many tablets would that be and can I add them to the skimmer?

Pool calculator will show you effects of adding this to you pool. Enter the gallons and the top, set the settings and then the effects section will tell you how many CYA ppm it will add.
Using a floater is usually the prefered method. Adding it to the skimmer means the chemicals are at the highest concentration when it enters your pump and filter and this is not good for either of them. When I went on vacation, I used a disposable floater (dichlor) but i was at 20CYA when I started.
Ok, more questions. My chlorine level is always good and my ph is usually around 7.4-7.6, but after swimming my skin is really dry and the water burns my eyes. What else should I be checking for that would cause this?
