Glad this helped you. Phosphates are not really ignored by tfp methodology. It's just that there is no science to indicate any concern about phosphate levels and pool maintenance so long as tfp recommendations are followed. If they are not followed treating for phosphate removal does not do anything other than sell phosphate remover and cause your filters to most likely need to be replaced plus more work on your part.
